Drag-drop Keyboard Shortcuts

The Drag-drop and Contentbox editors have a few keyboard shortcuts available for power users.

Text formatting

Press the + key on the numlock pad

Increase selected text Font Size by 1px

Press the - key on the numlock pad

Decrease selected text Font Size by 1px

Press CTRL & the + key on the numlock pad

Increase selected text Line Height by 1px

Press CTRL & the - key on the numlock pad

Decrease selected text Line Height by 1px

CTRL + Up Arrow

Increase text block Margin Top

CTRL + SHIFT + Up Arrow Decrease text block Margin Top

CTRL + Down Arrow

Increase text block Margin Bottom

CTRL + SHIFT + Down Arrow

Decrease text block Margin Bottom

General Formatting / Tools

Use the key combination below to enable to formatting modes and modals. Press the same combination to disable. (Make sure you have clicked into the page to focus the browser for the keypresses) In case of issue clear the browser cache and cookies to remove...

If using a Mac - replace ALT with the OPTION key.

Toggle Property Panel

Launch a persistent property panel at the bottom of the page.
The Property Panel shows information related to the current element you are editing, and change some values.

CTRL + ALT + T

Toggle Text Panel

Launch a persistent text panel as a popup.
You can the set various sizing, formatting elements for your selected text.

CTRL + ALT + Y

Toggle Style Editor Panel

Launch a persistent  styje editor panel as a popup.
With the Style Editor you can target and modify elements within the current selected snippet block.

CTRL + ALT + M

Toggle Style Editor Panel > Mobile Tab

Launch a persistent  styje editor panel as a popup- with the mobile formatting tab open.You can then apply animation effects to the snippet block or the inner content using the style editor navigation.

CTRL + ALT + E

Toggle Style Editor Panel > Effects Tab

Launch a persistent  styje editor panel as a popup - with the effects tab open.
You can then apply animation effects to the snippet block or the inner content using the style editor navigation.

CTRL + ALT + N

Margin-padding Mode (Currently in testing)

Enables Margin and Padding helpers which can be dragged (vertical only) to increase / decrease height for the current selected element.

Style Editor Popup Shortcuts

When navigating to the properties of an element where there is more that one e.g .column, images etc, the editor shows <> arrow buttons at the top of the popup. Instead of clicking the arrowns when they are visible you can use the arrow keys to navigate as well.
