How can I make changes to the way my site looks?

Your website broadly consists of a Website Theme, Page Formats and Content.

Some page content is created and managed via the Drag-drop and Contentbox content editors while pages such as galleries and ecommerce pages store content in a database and use system generated page layouts to present the data.

Editing and styling Drag and Drop and Contentbox Page content.

  • Content edited in the Drag and Drop and Contentbox editors can have their content styled at a per-page level via the Top toolbar and Style properties popup windows.
  • Content such as buttons and headings can also have their styling updated globally e.g. affecting all buttons, via the DESIGN > CUSTOM STYLE ELEMENTS area
  • Content can also be styled at a template level via the DESIGN > STYLESHEETS area if you have a knowledge of CSS.

Editing Galleries, Shopping Pages and other System Generated page types

  • Most system generated pages such as Gallery and Ecommerce pages can have their formats changed via the LAYOUTS tab when editing the page.
  • Many buttons, prompts and labels can be changed via the DESIGN > REWORD TITLES AND PROMPTS area.
  • Ecommerce pages also have a great deal of changeable options available via the E-COMMERCE > DISPLAY OPTIONS area.
  • Gallery pages, ECommerce, Form Pages etc can have additional styling set via the DESIGN > CUSTOM STYLE ELEMENTS area
  • System pages can also be styled at a template level via the DESIGN > STYLESHEETS area if you have a knowledge of CSS.

Areas that can be adjusted via the Design > Custom Style Elements area include:

  • Browser Background
  • Theme Colours
  • Text Colours
  • Menu Button Colours
  • Fonts and Font Sizing
  • Text, Links and Buttons
  • Forms and Form Fields
  • Logo
  • Banner
  • Main Menu
  • Category and Products Menus
  • Product Lists Galleries and Blogs
  • Featured Products

Customing the Theme template

If you are familiar with CSS you can edit the template styling directly via the DESIGN section of the website.

Templates can also be altered with the risk that you could break the look of the website by doing so.
