POS Windcave Payments – QR Codes

When using POS with Windcave, certain payment methods will generate a QR code on the POS payment status screen.

• Show the QR code to your customer.
• Ask them to scan the code with their mobile phone.
• This will link them directly to a secure payment page where they can complete the transaction on their device, similar to paying for an online order.

Why use QR codes?

More secure, customers don’t need to hand over their card.

Faster checkout, if the customer has their card saved in a digital wallet, payment can be completed quickly.
