Copy and Paste
Copy and Paste is a great way to make your life easier, but beware these pitfalls.
Inserting Photos / Positioning Photos
Click on the photos button in the tool bar...
Inserting Links.
Highlight the text to be linked (underlined), then select the appropriate link type from the link dropdown box in the editor toolbar.
Inserting Links/Bookmarks on same page
You can link from one area of a page to another area of the same page. The destination is called a bookmark. The originating link is called an inpage link
Inserting Tables / Columns / Background Colours.
The table wizard can be used to make tabular fomated information, like financial charts, or to just have an area with a different background colour. You can't add or remove rows or columns without using the HTML codes tab. This is not good for novice users, so another option, is to create a new table of the size you want, and to cut and paste from the old table to the new one.
Changing Font Colours
You can change colour, all by using the "colour" dropdown box. Refer to the tables dropdown for creating background colours.
Changing Fonts / Headings
Highlight the text to be changed. Select an appropriate font, style, or size from the combo boxes in the toolbar. It is better to change fonts globally using a stylesheet or in the global design settings area for your whole website
Line Spacing Notes
Line spacing and bullet points can sometimes be a bit tricky read on... Short answer is to use SHIFT ENTER for a single line space. But ENTER for a pargaraph break or new bullet point. Use the DEL or BACKSPACE key to rejoin broken lines.
